how does a hydraulic motor work

I believe that everyone is already familiar with the working principle of hydraulic motors, but why are the transmission methods widely used on the market mainly mechanical transmission, electric transmission, pneumatic transmission and hydraulic transmission, of which the penetration rate of hydraulic system is so high?

Mechanical transmission is driven by gears, racks, worms, worm gears, belts, chains, levers and other mechanical parts, which is the earliest developed and most commonly used form of transmission. It has the advantages of accurate and reliable transmission, simple operation, intuitive and easy grasp of the mechanism, small impact of load change on transmission ratio and low environmental impact. However, for the case of automatic control, it is complicated and cumbersome to complete by mechanical transmission alone, and it is difficult to operate at long distances, large operating force, and small degree of freedom for changing the installation position, so it is gradually replaced by other transmission methods in many occasions. Electric drive is driven and controlled by electricity, using AC motor to drive, simple and inexpensive, but also a component of various transmissions. However, AC motors are generally difficult to carry out stepless speed change, and DC motors can achieve stepless speed change, but DC power supply is more expensive. At present, the thyristor technology greatly simplifies the stepless speed change of AC motors, but the application of high-power and low-speed large-scale torque needs to be further improved. Electrical control, especially electronic computer control, has unique advantages such as convenient signal change and transmission, easy long-distance operation, so it is indispensable in occasions with high automation requirements. Pneumatic transmission uses compressed air as the transmission medium, and the infinitely variable speed can be easily achieved by adjusting the air volume. At the same time, it has the advantages of convenient transmission and transformation of signals, fast response and simple structure. The eye air is taken from the dry atmosphere, so the gas source is cheap. Leakage can also be directly released into the atmosphere without causing pollution. The air viscosity is small, so the pipeline pressure loss is small, the flow rate is large, and high-speed movement can be obtained (such as pneumatic grinding head with more than 100,000 revolutions per minute). However, the fatal disadvantage of pneumatic transmission is that the air compression hit, which cannot obtain uniform and stable movement, and cannot be used for high-power combinations.

Hydraulic transmission uses liquid as the medium to transmit energy, so it has more advantages than the above three transmissions. First of all, this can obtain a large torque, and it can also be easily handled by heavy machinery. Secondly, the power-to-weight ratio of the hydraulic system is large, that is, the weight and volume are small but can output a larger power, just like the notebook computer for the earliest "big head computer", it can do more things. The last point is that hydraulic components are easier to achieve serialization, standardization, and generalization, so that designers are easy to design, and manufacturers are also easy to manufacture and promote, which is why Hanjiu Technology focuses on the hydraulic field, based on these advantages of hydraulic transmission system, we can use our own technology to create more meaningful products, not too limited to tradition.
